Since your buying as a stripped receiver you can built it into a rifle or a pistol. 

These receivers have a three nice options you don't find on most other receivers. One they have a captive selector spring & detent (see picture below) now you don't have to worry about the selector detent spring shooting across the room when you change out stocks. These have a threaded hole w/ a small allen head screw that keeps the spring & detent in place.

Two they have a bolt built into the receiver that snugs up any play that might be between your upper & lower, no more Accu-Wedges needed!

They have HK style selector designations, very cool :)
