Mercury Optimax 225 XXL boat motor, 225 HP
V6 Direct Fuel injection & only
314 hours. Comes w/ gauges, controls, Mercury SmartCraft digital
monitoring device, power trim & wiring as pictured below. This
engine was used very little as you can see by the hours. It was
always well maintained & is very clean as you can see from the
pictures below. This is a
SALT WATER MOTOR but it has always been run
in fresh water. It
does not come w/ a prop.
I was told that this motor was replaced with a new engine w/ money from a Federal grant and it was in proper working order when exchanged. I got it directly from the state. It was placed drained & fogged & then put in the metal shipping container that the new one came in. As you can see in the pics it is clean & has been well maintained. Sold as-is.
